Last June.. We purchased a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS. It had 64,470 miles on it. So we bought this warrenty that were assured that it would be a good one. We didn't put 3000 miles on it before we put it in storage for the winter and went to TX.
We returned to Michigan on April 27th. And when we tryed to use the Air Conditioner, It wouldn't cool the automobile. So thinking we had a service contract. We made an appointment to get it in for service, We have a $200.00 deductible. Well they said the service contract wouldn't cover it. The condencer, they said had corrosion on it. We didn't see the part, which was a mistake on our part. Because I don't know weather to believe them or not.
Well we ended up paying over $500.00 to get it fixed. When we bought this they were very insisting that this was a great service contract. We paid over $1969.00 fot this and it isn't worth the paper it is written on. I have sent an email to everybody I know and called the company my self to voice my opinion. I hope people are aware of what they are getting into with these contracts. They arn't any good.
Thank You
