This dealership is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It's filled with crooks. I went in there to purchase a used vehicle. Sat down and talked some numbers. When it cam down to the paperwork and everything they start explaining to me about an extended warrenty, how if I don't use it in 2 years AT ALL I would get $2,000 back, which is how much the warrenty cost. So I said great alright. 2 years pass and I contacts them saying I want to cancel my warrenty so I can receive my refund of $2,000. They fax me the paper I need to fill in, I fax it back. There is information on there they need to fill in and send the warrenty contract into the warrenty company itself.
A few weeks goes by and I don't hear anything so I call up Popular Ford to get an idea of whats going on. They're giving me the run around and not answering my questions, so I decide to actually call up the warrenty company itself and find out if they recieved the paperwork from Popular Ford.
It turns out that Popular Ford NEVER sent the company my contract for the warrenty AND they never paid the company the cost for my warrenty of $2,000. Popular Ford this whole time had my $2,000 pocketed. I wasn't even in the warrenty companies system. So this whole time of 2 years that went by I thought I had a warrenty BUT I didn't. So I paid for something I didn't even have. The warrenty company told me I am entitled to my full refund because I didn't not use it AND I simply paid for something I didn't have.
I then filed a report against Popular Ford with the Better Business Bureau. They send out 2 letters to Popular Ford and no answer or response from them. I tried calling the dealership and I spoke to the manager of Finance department and he was giving me the run around saying it is pro0rated that I won't get back the full amount, thne hung up on me. I do not know what to do. I am not walthy and that $2,000 would go a long way for me. It just hurts to know that people would be so heartless to take peoples hard earned money and basically rob them right in front of their face. Is there any way I can obtain my refund from this CROOKED DEALERSHIP POPULAR FORD.
