We do have bad credit due to my cancer diagnosis and losing a job for 2 years until i found another one, but we are not bad people because we had some life problems. Clay cooley does great infomercials for folks like us that are desperate to buy a car, so we checked out clay cooley believing what they said was true. Pick out a car, we were told, any car, i was even told "hey, we will sell you (2) cars today with nothing down on the 2nd purchase. No kidding, buy (2) today. We purchased one car from clay cooley. Loan approved. We signed the contracts. Bamb. We drive off with the new car. We are thrilled to bits with service, felt like we had been treated so nicely. Phone rings. It's clay cooley auto dealership. Bring the car back. Your loan has not funded and we want our car back. We drove that car for 3 weeks... Seriously, we drove it for 3 weeks with a signed contract. How can they enter into a contract with you then tell you to bring a car back??? When we returned the car, we were told we'd get our money back. We had to take the car back. We did. We didn't get our money back until we went back out there again when the business office was open. They sold us a car at the end of the month to make their numbers. End of story. They don't care about you or the fact you drove the car. They are in it to make sales numbers to look good to the stock holders, or banks that lent them money. I was told i was approved for a loan by the bank, they gave me the banks name, etc... But then they said i was not approved. So they lied to me. Then they said, well, you can pick out a car from this side of our lot and give us $1000 and we can finance you in one of these cars??? These people are dishonest people and we told them what they could do with the cars on that side of the lot.
