Ej's customs did a customization job on my husband's truck that included shaving the door handles, third brake light, logos and antenna, relocating the tailgate handle to the inside and priming the truck in a two tone grey and black primer (gray on top, black on bottom). All of this was done for a decent price of two thousand dollars plus the cost of the solenoid kit that was purchased at AIM.
After the job was done, there were indentations from where the shaving was done because there was not enough bondo applied. Also, behind the truck bed was not primed, and after about a month, the primer began to chip off because it was not wet sanded or sealed.
When it came time for the truck to be painted, we went to a well known and respected customs shop in west palm beach, fl travelling all the way from georgia to ensure a quality paint job.
After three days of nonstop sanding and painting and priming, sanding and repainting. The shop's owner and veteran painter of over twenty years came to the conclusion that since the primer was not sealed, everything that got onto the truck, went straight into the paint. It then had to be restored and sand blasted to take the paint down to the metal costing us over five thousand dollars, and then it had to be painted from scratch.
Now this guy has my husband's truck up on his website. The picture was definately fixed in a photoshop program because our truck has NEVER looked like that. I guess he has to lie to get customers in the door.
Thanx EJ...
