April, 7 me and my sister went Freedom to purchase some cars I want a truck and she was looking for a 05-06 chevy malibu. When I called I asked to deal with Renae (my previous sales when I purchase a 01 Alero in 05) we agreed to met at 10am however when I got there Renae was not there he asked another salesman Darius to take care of us (Big Mistake) 10-15 mins later in walks Renae I asked that they deal with my sister first they asked us our credit scores (Of course we didn;t know Big Mistake on our part) once they processed our information they asked how much we was putting down my sister say $1000 with a her notes wanting to be $350 me I said $1000 plus my trade in (01 Alero 75,252 miles) with my notes being $325-$375 now before going in I contacted my current finance company and asked for my pay off amount $4324.00 as of that day I also did the black& blue book on my car which was 2300.00. Darius has someone pull up in a 2004 Impala fully loaded (53,111 miles) no sales price was nowhere on this car, so me her and Darius test drove the car. We both thought it was nice even though it was not what she asked for after the test drive, both salesman go in the finance office and come back out after 15-20mins later asking that we both co-sign for each other...? At this point i'm pissed off I said "You really shouldn't have because that is not gone happen".
They both had this crazy look on there face so at that point they had someone pull up a 2005 Hyuandi Tucson (31,011 miles) no sales price on this car either me and Renae test drove the car during which time he was not concern whether I liked this car or not he was more focus on me co-signing for my sister. So again I told him "NO" went back in he and Darius stated my sister wouldn't be able to get her car I was like ok he then asked me a 3rd time about co-signing I then want off " Look I don't know what part of No is not registering but I am not doing that so stop asking better yet Im ready to go" Renae tells Darius ok then we have to put everything back the way it is suppose to be and they went back into the finance office come back out call my sister in she signs to a 20.87%, 60 mos contract, $349 per month.
Renae comes back out to me stating they are asking for another $1500 from me at that point I am ready to walk I say no he goes back in calls me in the office my stupid ass sign to a 20.87%, 60 mos, $378 per month on my contract my trade was $5600 they asked that when the bank calls say I put down $1100 instead of $1000. The whole weekend I was misrable I get to work Monday to find out I was being suspened until further notice I called Freedom spoke with Darius he stated if I was not Terminated I was not able to get out of this contract. So I left work and when I got there Darius told me he called and he was told I was still employed there I showed him a copy of my pink slip he then sent me to finance to speak with a Pierre (very Unprofessional and a Liar) he stated the same thing and threating to contact the police if I was lying I asked that is a customer giving a grace period to bring back a car he said no when i asked did he have it in writting he said yea at the Secretary of State I then asked to speak with the manager Gab he tried to feed me the same crap I said ok when the bank does contact me I will let them know the situation he became angry and asked Darius to get my keys and give me my money back as I was leaving they where making unprofessional remarks " This is how people with shot credit act " "You know if we finded out you still work there we can still bind you to this contract" You did this to yourself" Please keep in mind I brought my first car from them and I felt like they treated me like *@* I would never deal with this company ever in life again
