To start. I use to NTB and THANK GOD I do not work there anymore. My first day at that store I had been given an estimate to sell front brake pads, front brake rotors, rear brake pads and rear brake rotors on a '03 Toyota Corolla. Well I made a mistake and trusted the mechanic (Leo) and ended up selling the job to the lady. Well the next day the lady and her son come into NTB wanting to see the parts and wanted us to measure the pads and rotors to make sure we didn't screw her over. Well the brake pads MYSTERIOUSLY dissapeared but the rotors were still there. Another mechanic measured the rotors and found that the specs that Leo the mechanic had put on the paperwork were false. I was FURIOUS because I got yelled at and it felt like I just screwed a hard working woman out of about 400 dollars that she didn't have to spend. Now it's under new management but it is even worse. The new store manager Roy doesn't like to take responsibilty for his employees' actions. Oh and I'm sure most people didn't know that NTB has a 250% mark up above list from the aftermarket stores such as Autozone and Oreilly's. Yeah you're better off going to the dealership if you're willing to pay their prices. If you want quality work, go to the dealer because they can catch all your warranty recalls that you might not be aware of and fix them for you for free. If you want cheap prices with a reasonable quality then go to. Just whatever you do... Stay away from the ntb at bay area.
