The longer I think about what this company did to me, the angrier I get! I went to this dealership to by my first car (I was just out of college with my first job) and found my 2002 Explorer at autotrader.com.
I test drove the car, and fell in love, so I decided to buy. While test-driving, I made note of the mileage, as well as a few asthetic problems that I would want fixed. I told the salesman that, and he assured me that those problems would be fixed.
I understood that, being a first time buyer, financing would be challenging. I had a 660 middle FICO, but it still took a week to find financing. No biggie, except, after signing the paperwork (The gentleman in the finance department assured me that The dents had been popped out, and the light in the dash replaced, when I asked to check before I signed, I was told "NO, its being washed for you, and we want to make sure you drive away tonight!" My reply, "OK, I will trust you"
To make a long story short, upon getting into my car, There were 10,000 more miles on it than when I test drove, the car was disgusting (Crap in the cupholders, on the seats, when I opened the center console there were greasy hair pins, everything!) and the CD player was broken! I called the dealership, and their response was "Too Bad, you've already signed the paperwork, the car is yours!"
I have a long future in purchasing cars, as I am only 23, and I swear I will never go back there (and I have made it a point to tell my friends as well)
