I just wanted to let all those people out there who was ripped off by asap motors know that they have really really helped me. I was close to being ripped off by asap until i found this websit.
I had serched high and low for an engine for my 97 nissan altima and found asap motors on the web, soon after i gave them a call. A gentlmen by the name of steve said that they had that engine and was ready to ship, I said that i would be at there office to pay for the engine and have it shipped to my job. I was told it would ship the next day and was handed a bill of sales. So in anticipation i gave them a call the next day at around noon and was told that the engine would be at my job in two hours.
Two hours passed and no engine so i gave them a call and asked what the deal was and was told that they where a little behind, well no big deal i thought these things happen. Four hours after that still no engine, so i give them one last call for the evening and asked again where my engine was. I dont know the name of the gentleman that picked up the phone but he said he would check it out and placed me on hold. A half-hour later and im still on hold, lets just say i was alittle angry about that, I hang up and call back and was told that the people in the shipping dept. Had gone home for the day.
Day two... Pretty much the same thing except being on hold for half an hour.
Day three... Same
Day four... Same
Day five i found this website and was on my way to asap motors to demand my money back and nobody was going to give me the runaround any more. Surprisingly they gave me all my money back with out too much hassle, but then again they didnt have much of a choice since i was standing there glaring at them.
What I dont get is that my job is only an hour away from them, why is it so difficult get an engine to my job. Maybe they didnt have the engine to begine with i can only speculate.
Thank you all and consumer complaints for letting everybody know about how shaddy this company is.
