Checker auto parts has been ripping people off for years and not only to each pearson that comes into the store but to every one that has a commercail account. This is how they do it. They have it so when you open an account they give you a certain percentage off parts over the walk in costomer. But as years have gone on and i have been in auto repair business i cant get the right part the first time and when i call for pricing on parts ask what is my cost and what is walk in cost i only save maybe ten dollars what a waste. So i found a back door to beat their stupid pricing even as a commercail account any one can do this. You call first get the price of the part part # and ask if they have it in stock if they do you say i will think about that and call back. Then go to their web site and look up the same part # it will be lower priced pretty much. Print out that price and take it to the store they must meet that price. Take for instance called got price on a harmonic balncer i was told it would cost me $245 customer price $285 whent on line looked it up and it said it would cost me $185 so i mean still marking up prices too high for any one. So price compare and stick it too them as they have done to us.
