I went to Car depot to look for a 4x4 Jimmy, drove it and eventually bought it.
During the first week of having this Jimmy the transmission went out in the middle of a storm with me and my two girls in it. I called them up and they said that I needed to bring it in to them and they would fix it no problem! So I did.
Now while talking to them about the problems inside the office building one of the Sales guys was making sexual comments to me and asking me to have threesomes and ect. Called me a MILF, now unaware of what this meant and he did do in front of my girls, 14 and 13 yrs old... They just turned and looked at me with a disgusted look on their faces and the sales guy starts to laugh and asked them if they knew what that meant and they walked away, later I found out that it meant a mom I"d like to F—K! I was very unhappy and it hit me hard I didn't want to go back in to this place to even pick up my Jimmy.
3wks go by and every other day I was calling to see if it was done... No and then finally they called me back and said that I would have to pay $2,600 for the new transmission that they supposed of put in it. I went in with my husband to talk about why I had to pay for it. The owner was very rude and threated not to give me back my car. Anyway, to make it short, the trasmission went out 1 week after that and I then took it to a machanic that I trusted and he said that they put in used parts from a junk yard and it wasn't fixed correctly, I called them to let them know what I had found out and they were very rude and threated me again! So I had the transmission a new one put in it by a guy whom does work like this all the time. I am now still driving it and I will never ever go back. I was takin advantage of and harrassed and humiltiated and down graded as a woman and in front of my two girls.
I was very uneasy for the past yr about myself and my self worth. Due to what they had said and done to me. I am too scared to ever buy a used car period! From every dealership due to the experience I had with CAR Depot.
