I took my car to Haynes Carwash on several occassions to be fixed only to have him treat me unprofessionally. It has been over a year since he has been paid by my insurance company to do 2 claims on my car. He has finished one of the claims, which was to replace the bumper on the front of my 1999 mecury cougar.
As of today he has not fixed my sunroof which was my second claim. I have taken my car to him to be fixed on several occassions, which he has given me the run around every time that I have taken my car to him. He would have me bring my car to his shop only to let it just sit there without even fixing on it, so I would go get it.
Then he would have excuses saying that he didn't have any help or the parts wasn't in. This went on for over a year. I moved out of town a couple of weeks ago and left my car here with the understanding from Jimmy Haynes that he would have it fixed by the time that I came back to Arkansas.
I called back to Arkansas to check with my sister to make sure that she took my car to Jimmy Haynes on March18 like he had told my sister to bring it to him, but on March 19, when I called to check on his progress, I was told that my car was sitting in front of his house and hadn't been fixed or even started on, so by then I was really fed up, and I told my sister to go get my car, and park it at my mother's house, and I would be home on that weekend to handle the matter.
Once I was back in Arkansas, I went to Jimmy Haynes shop and told him that I just wanted my money back because I have someone else who will be fixing my car and that's when I had problems with him about my money. He started making up excuses about giving my money back to me. He tried to say that it was my fault that my car wasn't fixed because I kept coming to get it.
I kept going to pick it up because he wasn't fixing it, and I explained to him each time that I needed my car for my job, but he constantly played games with me. When I called him on the phone on my way back to Arkansas, Jimmy Haynes told my that, he didn't even have the parts for the sunroof and that he didn't know when they would be in because he had ordered them from Canada.
I don't understand how it was my fault when as of today he don't even have the parts for the sunroof. He is a big rip off, a big liar, and a con artist. I have talked to other people who he has done the same way. I feel like he needs to be handled because noone should have to go through what I have been through with him. He also told me that he couldn't give me my money back until April 5th because he has it tied up in another job.
I think that is fraud on his behalf. He has no right tying my money up into any other job because it's not his money because he never even started or finished the job. His workers also told me how Jimmy Haynes would just sit my car up and never work on it, and the workers also told me how he would take other jobs over my car. I would notice that when I would go by the shop. Like I stated earlier, he needs to be handled.
