Well i went to tropical motor sports becouse i needed a car and i had some credit problems so they told me they could help me get in a car, they ran my credit and than came back and asked me for a down payment, i was like well can i see what type of car you are selling me, they where like well we can put you in any car, so i went outside and looked around with the salesman and picked out some cars that i was told i can get, so time went by and at the end of the night i was offerd a mazda millenia 1999, the car looked great i test drove it and questioned some noises from the engine but they told me it was normal, so of course with my bad credit situation i really could not do anything eles than settle for that car i have a family and i need a car, well i left that day and not even 10 mins down the road my check engine light comes on and the car starts to stall on me, i called the dealership and told them the situation and they said just bring it in the next day,
Well i went the next day and i told them hey i just had got back from the gulf and i was going to ny that day to see my family and i was woundering if i can get a loaner till you fix my car, they were like well it should just take a few min so i stayed there with my pregnant wife and my 1 and a half year old son waiting and waiting, the bottom line was they had me there from 8am till 8pm and they finally fixed the car, as soon as i left the dealership the same problems accured so i called them back and they were like well go to ny you can drive like that and when you come back the following week you can bring in the car, well i discoverd that the car was not inspected legally and called them up, so they told me to bring it in and we will get it inspected but they had bought the car and it was already inspected so that right there tells me that there 10 point check was out the window, so we webt to a place to get the car state inspection done and the people there where friends of the people from the dealership so they came out and did a half ass inspection to the vehicle and there was no way the car would have passed inspection but they passed it and i still wanted a secound opinion so i called my friends in the state police they came and hecked it out and said that there was no way it would pass, so we went the next day with the car and they re inspected it and it did not pass, so they ended up loosing there license to inspect cars there,
So the next day the dealership calls me and tells me that it was messed up that i called the police on them and that i would never get any help from there dealership, like they have helped me anyways, so the bottom line is i have a car that i bought from tropical motor sports that keeps on breaking down on me and i am paying over the roof for it, the people in tropical motor sports and the manager clarence lawson are just there to rip people off and take advantage of the situation, they know you have bad credit and that you are in need for a car so they will stick you with the worst car in there lot and not take care of any of your needs as a costomer, so my recomandation is to stop people who have dealerships like this its pretty bad that theres people who have bad credit and are willing to work get there credit score up but its bad when you get stuck in the situation that people will take advantage of you knowing you need a car.
