Unprofessional and big time liars

I applied online for a car dealership thats helps in financing. Two weeks later I was contacted by Nick C., a salesperson for Koons. On October 11th I went to Falls Church and was shown a 2002 Toyota Camry going for $15000. I test drove it and liked it and started the negotiations. Finally Nick took me to the finance office to do the paperwork. A lady called Ene did the paperwork. Since my credit score was low the APR was 21% and I was to pay the car in 60 months at the price of $489 monthly. I signed the contract and was handed the keys but before walking out I was explained that if I could get a co-signor the interest rate would be lower otherwise I could just do with the 21%. I said I will try looking for one.

A few days later Ene's boss called Jay calls me and asks if I could pay more as downpayment. I had initially paid $500 and he was asking for another $500 and another $500 after 2 weeks. I said I could do that. I get a co-signor but he refuses to sign the papers since they put his name before mine in that now I am to sign as the co-signor and the co-signor now becomes the buyer. They try to entice the co-signor but he will not sign. Three weeks later they say that the loan was not approved and I have to get a co-signor. So I ask Jay how is it that they let me walk out of there with the car before the loan was approved and that now I need a co-signor while it was not a requirement when I signed the papers. He says it was Ene's mistake and that she has been fired. Guess what I call there a few days later and I talk to Ene.

Then I come to meet a Mr. Joe Messina who is the finance manager. He explains that the bank will approve the loan if Koons lowers the payments and I put more money down. But he still needs me to get a co-signor. Six weeks have gone by since I got the car and I got another co-signor but Joe said that I could not use him. He then tells me to bring the car so that he puts me in another car but when I complain he tells me that the deal is now off, no more co-signing and I have to return the car the next day or else he will have the car listed to the authorities. I have had the car all this time. The vehicle was not registered and I still had temp tags for it which expire on the 25th of Nov. I return the car on Fri after becoming attached to it.

Anyone looking for financing through Koons should watch out for these bad dealers who do not give out complete facts. I signed the contract when they had said that I had got the financing and now they turn the whole thing around and add new requirements.
