I was in desperate need for a personal loan. I applied via the internet for a "bad credit personal loan". Within hours I received a call from Ms. Barbara Beck with Farallon Capital Trust Co.
She explaind three (3) options for securing my personal loan.
Collateral, co signor or an insurance fee. I chose a co-signor. She emailed me what looked like a legit contract. I signed it, sent all the info about my co-signor and mailed the envelope to the address. I waited 3 days. No call. I called her repeatedly and got her voice mail.
I called customer service and talked with Leann. At first she was nice. I explained what had happened and she said it could be the mail (it would never take that long) When I asked her why had I read on the internet that this company is not legit, she hung up on me. I kept calling back, straight to voice mail. I tried to call Ms. Beck, same thing, straight to voice mail.
I waited a few days and called again. Now there is a recording which immediately says, "Thanks for calling, Good-bye"
Thank the Lord I was not stupid or desperate enought to send the large amount of cash that they wanted.
Please warn anyone to NOT do business with this company. The certainly are a Fraud.
