Fragenly Adding Insurance With No Warning ripoff

WFS Financial has caused me grief from the beginning. Before I even new they were my finance company, they were already all ready sending me bills to another address, therefore I didn't know who they were until they contacted me and told me I was late. They admittedly realized that, however this becomes a case of the right hand not talking to the left.

Following day, after we agreed about their address mix up and letting me know who they were, and agreeing to pay my first amount on a certain date, I still got phone calls from their collections department.

I had to explain to them about how they dropped the ball and I had no clue who my insurance company was bla bla bla. Issued resolved. Right? Wrong. 3rd day in a row. Collections called me again with the same questions. So now I've already spend about 3 hours on the phone same the samething. So then they expected another payment with in a week of the other one.

I told them there needs to be an adjustment of my payment schedual since they're the one's that got my information incorrect. So they agreed to do that and also not charge me any late fees. I get another call a few days later from them asking when I'm going to make my next payment, getting really frustrated, I told them in a stern voice to quit calling me, I already spoke with someone and made arrangements. Again, they claim that they will document the phone call, appearently they seem to not do that. Would you believe it, I got more calls?

WFS Calls me again and still nothing had been documented about when I was paying. So the representative says, just fax us over your signature and write that you would like a date change on your billing schedule. Great, I did that and infact she stayed on the phone to let me she got the date change faxed to her. It's gets better folks.

About a week later, yet again, I get another phone call stating thatI'm 11 days late. At this point, I wanted to explode about of my body in anger. I started to yell at the customer service rep manager, named "Richardo" in the Dallas or Houston office that I already made arrangements.

He says, all we need is a hard copy from me, stating the billing schedule change. I told him that I already did that. He tells me that they don't have a copy of it. He puts me on hold, comes back and says the last notes we see is that another "rep" recieved your fax about your schedule change. I said, there you have it, it's been documented. "Richardo" proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have the hard copy and so I need to send him another one.

I told him it's no longer my repsonsibility to do their job to follow up with a 2nd fax. I was travling while I talking to him, so explained I don't have the time to deal with their responsibility. So he proceeds to go back and forth with me like it's tennis match. Finally he caves in and says, "I'll email that "rep" and ask for the copy to resolve this problem. I told him it would be a great idea in the name of fair business practices.

Oh so after all that you read, you would think by now after all these phone calls and days have gone by, you think they got my address correct??? Nope! I called just the other day to let WFS know that I was hand delivering the payment to their Irvine Office. The "Rep" asked me if I was getting my statements in the mail? I told here, I still have not recieved any statements. She reads off my address, still way off the mark.

She corrects the issue. Now remember, I'm made my payment as scheduled to WFS. 2 days later, after I drove their to make my timely payment, which was a cashiers check, they send me the bill stating that I'm late and a $21 late fee has been added. At this point, I'm so frustrated, I couldn't even speak. Finally the last straw and ofcourse this why I'm up @4:30 AM writing this, they bought insurance for me.

I already gave them all the insurance information they needed when I first signed the contracts. I never got a phone call or notice asking me for a copy of my Insurance. They just dropped insurance in my lap and I'm suppose to pay for this on top of what I'm already paying? My insurance company already has record of my insurance.

Once I found out who WFS was, I contacted my Insurance company and notifed them. When I first signed the contracts at the dealership, they asked for my insurance. Again, they never notified me otherwise about this issue. Can somone help me??? I really need the help against this kind of abuse.
