We went in for the $59 down sale and found a 2003 Chevy Cavalier LS for $11,000.00 We talked them down to $9000.00 but still ended up paying $10,000.00 6 months ago we took the car to another dealer to see what he would give us, we already have had the car for a year now. The dealer told us that they can't buy it because the back door on the drivers side had been replaced and didn't line up and was red underneath the paint. Now no dealer will buy the car, and it has been for sale now for 10 months.
We listed the car, then go to find out my air conditioning quit working last summer we take it to the shop find out that there is a hole in the condenser. That is $500.00 right there that we don't have. We took the car back to budget and they told us they can't do anything, we asked to see the report about the car and they wouldn't let us see it.
They offered to buy the car back for $8000.00, only if we get into another car but a 2004 or up. We told them they ripped us off and will be hearing from a lawyer. Well kinda immpossible to get a lawyer when your paying so much for a car that is beginning to have every door rattle as if the frame is bent.
Budget car sales must go down, I have talked to others who have had problems with them in the past. Either paying fees, crappy cars, or poor customer service.
