Back in February I was mislead by Kline Collision Repair Center, Inc. T/A Koons Select Pre-Owned, sales representative. Located at 5800 Edsall Road Alexandria Virginia, 22304. On buying a 2003 BMW. Today I'm writing again, because I'm unsatisfied with this dealer yet once again. I called the bank to double check my remaining balance on the loan. With disappointment, I realized that the balance included the Extended Warranty Service and the Gap Insurance totaling around $3,000. On February 27, I specifically told the dealer & Sign their document, that I wanted to cancel the service. I called Koon's Finance Department to inform them of the miscommunication. The lady at Finance and the manager informed me, after arguing back and forth, that this will get done today 08/16/06, but it will take up to 4 weeks to get resolved. Also they informed me that, they were not sure if they would be able to back date the cancellation. Meaning that they will not be able to credit the full corresponding amount. I believe strongly that this was the dealer mistake, and they should be able to refund the full amount immediately with out a problem. I write this letter not only to inform you of the bad handling of Koons but also to ask for advice on how to proceed with this situation. Given that I'm trying to pay off my loan immediately, and believe strongly that I should not be put threw the wait.
