This company recently let numerous people at work go without any reason or formal paperwork. I was falsely accused of doing side jobs when what I was really doing after working 9 hours, 6 days a week was repairing my own home! Car stereos have nothing to do with my doing repair on my home yet the company lied to DES to avoid my claim for unemployment. This is illegal. I was accused of all sorts of unfounded things and as a result my name and reputation are being defamed in my field, as well as the hardship of being denied unemployment to support my family. The company gives no reason for letting me go other than they said business was slow and it was my fault. Summers are slow in Arizona for many companies. Furthermore, the company has a habit of firing old staff, denying them unemployment so they can steal their competition's employees and steal the other company's clientele. This is shady but no reason to defame my character and tell lies about incidents that DID NOT HAPPEN. If I were a consumer I wouldn't buy from this store, nor would I recommend anyone work for these people. I'd heard rumors that there were things like this going on and now I have proof. I also got reamed for doing what the secretary Marie told me to do in keeping daily reports. She even gave me an excel sheet to keep things on my computer for her, and the only reason I can think of that management was furious is that perhaps they don't want daily sales known because they're keeping double books. I have no idea and really don't want to know. I had a computer there and the manager even came and deleted files himself, which were basically my manager notes for myself to track special order items for customers since the company has nothing and is completely disorganized. The entire company runs without computers and a former employee told me that this is because its common for companies who are cheating the IRS to keep everything on paper which can be hidden, altered etc. I was also yelled at about where my laptop was (we used to play video games on it when there were no customers) and the boss didn't believe that the laptop broke, which it did - the screen got destroyed when my wife dropped it. So all these things are being fabricated to DES to make it appear as if I did something wrong. You tell me how side jobs got done by a guy who arrived early, left late, worked 6 days a week and got paid for 5 and got home at 7:30pm each night. Sundays were reserved for work on my home. Tell me where in the hell I was doing side jobs?
STAY AWAY FROM KUSTOM KAR SOUND they are shady, and have obviously have experience screwing people!!!
