I don't know if this is BAD BUSINESS or what. I went to the dealer to buy a car based on an advertisement that came in the mail (double discount, cars below price). I went to the dealer and inquired. The first thing that was stated, "that flyer is old" BUT we will help you. I inquired about the cars listed in the flyer but NOONE seemed to know where they were??? I test drove a BRAND NEW VEHICLE and after they pulled my credit report... The manager said... Yes we can get you approved... BASED ON THAT STATEMENT AND SOME PAPER WORK, I left with the vehicle. I had the car for 8 days. During this time, I called and inquired about the final financing. On the 7th day, I spoke to the BUSINESS MANAGER... HE SAID I WAS APPROVED but he submitted it to several banks and he was waiting to hear back from them. They called me the next day to come in... When I went in they told me they could not get the entire amount financed and that I needed a co-signer or additional money to put down. I told them that they should have told me that BEFORE... At any rate... I would not go back to them... I feel like that pulled the hooked and bait by allowing me to drive the car and they thought i would come up with additional money. You make the call... UNETHICAL OR WHAT.
I would not do busy with them again.
