Offlease Only
Bait and Switch - sales rep and service. Poor

Hi. I was shopping around for a new car when I came across the variety of cars at "off lease auto" and saw that their prices were very low as well so I decided to give them a call. I was in the market to purchase a Nissan Murano and saw they had 10 listed on their website. I live almost 3 hours away so instead of driving all the way there I thought it would be best to call first. After getting the run around for 3 days I finally had a man named "Gucci" call me back. He was very unprofessional and "ghetto" but he assured me he could approve me for the car I wanted. After allowing him to run a credit app for me over the phone, he guaranteed my approval for financing but stated they had just SOLD the last Nissan Murano, but said he had a really nice Lexus RX330 he could get me into and asked me when could I come there and look at the car and finalized the paperwork. We agreed on the next day to meet at the dealership. I called him that morning before I left to give him a heads up to be expecting me, also confirming his guarantee that I had been approved. He assured me all was " a go ". When I arrived, he was walking out of his office to another room and told me that he would be with me in 2mins. I should have known better when he sat me in a room to fill out my credit, but thought "maybe they just need this for their records since I was already approved". He then gave that to his "finance manager" to see if they could get me approved... WHAT??? I thought I was approved, then he replied that there is a good chance that a bank will pick me up, we just have to wait and see. Then he began to ask me if I was putting down $4k, I told him, NO, I told you 2500 at the most before I got here... Then he says how about 3500, I said NO. Then this is where the wait game began, after waiting for almost 2 hours pacing back and forth, Im told, "oh the bank cut us and don't want to pay us what we want for the car but if you give us $5500 down, the car is yours". Wtf... Then he began telling me, well you make great money, you can afford it... WTF, who are you to tell me what I can afford, this is not what you said over the phone, I told you I was not looking to put nomore than 2500 down. I then, began to tell him that I did not appreciate him wasting my time, gas and day. Then he wanted to ask me to buy a different car from them, he offered me everything from a beat up Saab SUV to a Subaru to a Pathfinder to a Chrysler 300 to a Honda. Then he refer me back to the same site that lists 10 Nissan Muranos on it but by his own admission, they did NOT currently have a single one left. He was very UNprofessional, he wore sunglasses the entire time, even inside the building where their was no sun or bright lighting. He wore skin tight jeans and a spandex baby shirt that had a huge rip in it, when he noticed the hole in his shirt he pulled out another skin tight toddler shirt that was all balled up from out a paper bag next to his desk and put it on in front of me. I have bought several cars in the past and he was by far the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in the car business, complete waste of time. I told him to call me when they got in another Nissan Murano, he then suggested I buy him a black Diesel tshirt that costs $70 for all his work he put in trying to get me into a vehicle. Upon leaving the dealership I noticed a car lot across the street and decided to stop in to see if they had a Murano, they did. I spoke with the owner Gene. He assured me he would not waste my time and that he would do whatever in his power to get me into the vehicle. (Meanwhile, Gucci from across the street called to tell me I had left my drivers liscense with him and needed to come back to get it, when I walked across the street he told me to come back later, as he was leaving to go on his lunch break... I told that homothug that he waste my time long enough already and that I was not coming back and that he needed to give me my belongings NOW... He did)... I walked back across the street to Port Motors and Gene had the Murano there waiting for me to test drive; car was very beautiful, leather, power all, sun roof, heated seats, loaded... I drove the car, liked the car, 5 minutes later, Gene approached me and said I had been approved. About an hour later, I was driving back home in my new Nissan Murano..

I would say to avoid "offlease auto" at all cost unless you have gas to burn, time to waste, bs and procrastination to deal with, and 2x the downpayment you would be expecting to put down if you are not buying the vehicle right out. OR AVOID this sales rep with the toddler t's, sunglasses, spandex pants and tattoos.
