I had problem with AC in my car. Brought it to this repair station. After waiting the whole day they said it was only about the freon. Billed for 170 dollar, which I doubted worth their work (I saw my car left unattended for a long time while they busy servicing newcoming customers, I'm not an american btw). After taking it home, I found out that I still got the same problem! There was no improvement at all! The same condition when I took my car in.
When I brought the car back to them, they refused to admit there was any problem. Quoted: "I cannot fix a problem that's not there". The attitude was such disgusting, they seemed not to have the least care to check if there was really a problem. They felt absolutely no shame for taking money for a service that was worthless.
Being a weak customer, I guess I had nothing to do but look for another repair station. I hope this would be an honest one. 170 dollar is a big amount to me, a foreign student with just enough allowance to make a very economical living. But, what can I do?
Maybe I'm too confident that in America people are honest. I mean this is the greatest country in the world, right? They could make a good living without cheating, not from my country where often many people have to steal just to eat so they don't die.
