I am also an ex employee... Ashamed to say where I worked... I was discriminated against every day. I, because I would try and help the customer, would be told that I was getting to personally involved... I would work 50 hours a week, and then when I would need a day off, or when I went to work with 10 stitches in my hand, my manager Hector, (who would sit and watch half naked women on his IPOD all day)... Would ask me why isn't your work up to par today... Well probably because I had gotten 10 stitches in my palm in my left hand, the hand I write with, of course my work was slow... But he didn't see it like that... The customer service the customers would receive was good service until they walked out the door. Then when the car would break down, it would be OH WELL... You signed the contract... The managers and regionalist were all in it together... Discrimation from the word go. If you didn't talk bad about each other or the customers you were not being a team player... I received award after award, and because I wouldn't sign a write up, when I wasn't the one at fault. I was told that I could not stay employed there... Why... Because i would not be a team player... I would not talk about the customers or other co workers... CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! You are called cock roaches as soon as you walk out the door. I had been looking for employement for months before I left... Also, when the company of the year questionaires came out, and Drive Time was awarded NUMBER #2... I was told... Answer it, as if it meant your job... Someone needs to get to the head of the collections and let them know just how their managers are running each store... Employees are afraid to tell the truth for fear of losing their jobs... If you are not in their click, you are not a team player.
