I bought a Mitsubishi Montero sport in 2002. The sales man never mentioned a lease. I told him over and over that I wanted to buy. He mentioned a diamond plan and told me that is was the same as buying. Well I found out the other day that after 60 payments made I will still owe them $11500, by the way my payments were $660 per month and I never missed a payment. But now I am facing a $11500 balloon That I didn't realize i had until recently. Once it is all said and done I will end up paying almost $60,000 for a $28,000 car. This is such as scam. If anyone has hired a lawyer I will be more than willing to sign on. Also not to mention that the dealership had closed a couple years ago, so I can't even go there and confront anyone.
