My name is Don and when I turned 18 I purchased a car from JD BYRIDER in it was 91 Honda Accord that was clean but had 132,000 miles for around $9000 after everything. I thought since it was a honda it was a good deal for me not having any credit and needing a car.
Well about three months after having the car and "purchasing the warranty" the clutch went and I was making payments to them on time with no issues, I took the car down and asked them to help me and they said that they would have it fixed for $500 and I didn't have the money at the time so I worked it on the loan with them so I could still drive and pay for the car.
Well one thing after another kept happening and I could not afford the car and tried to talk to them and ended up giving the car back after 9-10 months due to it being broken down again. Well heres the scoop I put $2k down made over $2k in payments and they put it on my credit twice as a repo with one from JD BYRIDER for a little over $7k and another from CNAC for around $7K so the total is $14,000 against my credit for a car that wasnt worth $5000 and they charged me $9000 What happened to my $4,000 towards the car for my down payment and my payments made?
These guys are now taking me to court over the matter for around $7,000 plus court fees. I am upset that they screwed off my credit for $14k and want to sue me saying they never got the car back, well I checked on www.carfax.com (BEST THING EVER) and saw that a month after I gave them the car back it was sold again and has had three other owners since. Needless to say now I have to go to court and find an attorney to help with this matter.
These guys are cheats and a major ripoff and should not be trusted. Stay as far away as possible!
