Charged too much for a loan on a van:
In december of my husband and i got into a financial bind, and couldn't make our december payment on our van, we went back to the dealership and asked them, if they could trade the van we had, for a cheaper one, and we got a 1996 chevrolet lumina, our other one was a 1997 chevrolet venture van.
Both of us was stressed out about losing our only means of transportation, so we signed all the papers, and i didn't notice until much later that our payments did start in january, instead of february like we had thought and that isn't the worst part, the value ofthe van is less that $4,000.00 and the amount financed was almost $14,000.00.
It appears to me that we paid for both vans, on this one loan. I don't think there is a way out for us, but i would sure like to let people know what can happen, when you trust a car lot, that is only out for their own profit, and nothing else.
