I got my scooter back in boxes deceptive company

On or about October 18, I took my Suzuki Intruder to Southern Cycle because of a loud engine noise. Nothing was touched until February. I was told the top end needed rebuilt, which I didn't doubt. Tina, the owner of Southern Cycle, told me the reason it had not been worked on was because they had little jobs that kept coming in. Also Tina said she was giving me time to get the money (If I didn't have the money I would not have told them to fix it). This all occurred on or about the 1st of February. They continued to put other jobs in front of mine.

At the end of February they tore the engine down, supposedly ordered parts, and gave me an estimate. I called repeatedly and told Tina that I needed the bike by the 29th of March. She didn't see a problem with that. I called to see if the parts came in and see if the cylinders were bored. Tina said the parts were all there. I asked her if any had been back ordered and she said by looking at the boxed, nothing had been back ordered. A Harley shop in Hopkinsville picked up my cylinders. 2 weeks later they were returned, not bored.

During the time the cylinders were gone, Tina told me she called and could not find the person who picked them up. There is no Harley shop in Hopkinsville. When they were returned on March 22, Tina told me she was going to take them to Queen City Salvage that afternoon to be bored.

I went to Queen City Salvage on March 27th, to make sure my cylinders were done. Nobody knew anything about them. They were never brought to them. I went to Southern Cycle and asked if my cylinders were being bored. Tina said they were taking care of it. I asked where they were. She said they were in the back of the shop, not bored.

She found them in the back of her van that day. Until then, she didn't know where they were. I can't wait any longer. I told Tina to get all my bike parts together; I would pick it all up on Saturday. I don't feel I should have to pay all the labor cost, which was $240.00. That is 6 hours labor at $40.00 per hr, for teardown. For the time it took, I feel that I should pay half that. She had me in a sling, so to speak. If I didn't pay it, I couldn't have my bike. I picked it up and took it to Queen City. It will be done in about 2 weeks.

Because it was torn apart, it's going to cost more to fix. I feel I should be compensated somehow. I also had to purchase a vehicle for transportation to work. Where is justice when you need it?
