John at aamco assured us they took the extended warranty that covered my Dodge Durango when it needed a new water pump. The warranty I have covers the total price of the water pump, all labor, towing and all taxes for cover items. All I had to pay was $50 deductible and the price to replace the belt.
A person has arranged to have my durango towed to their location. After thy had my truck John called and informed me at my work that I had to pay for part of the water pump and and all taxes. I told him my warranty covered that and he informed me I was incorrect.
When I arrived home I reviewed my warranty to find I was correct. My wife and I then called John to question the additional charges. He told us the same break down and when we informed him that our contract stated different he told us
"To come get our f*king truck out of his garage if we didn't like like it".
Needless to say we told him we will come get it. He replied come get it now and you owe me $55 for towing. We told him we were on our way and the towing was covered by the warranty.
When we arrived at aamco John pretended he never spoke to us then when I called him by his name and told him I knew he was who we talked to he said so we are closed and you can get your truck tommorow. I asked why did he tell us to come if tehy were closed he said he didn't. I repeated to him exactly what he told us and he said oh well not my problem come back tommorow then left.
