I somehow unknowingly got signed up for this company's service. When money was taken from my checking account, I became aware of them and called them to complain and find out what service this was and to have my money refunded. Customer service was extremely rude and told me my money would not be refunded, but I could cancel my account.
I explained I would not have signed up for emergency roadside service as I already have Triple A and it would be stupid for me to sign up for this service again. At that time, I was told they had confirmation of my signing up for this. I asked them to send me a faxed copy of that confirmation and I was told they don't fax documents to anyone, nor would they mail it out and that they could not verbally cancel my order, it had to be a written statement.
I was also told that because I had accepted a free trial membership, I could not have my money refunded. During this so called "free trial membership" I did not receive anything in the mail that would let me use this service, and in fact had no idea how to get in touch with them should I need emergency roadside assistance, nor did they have any costs associated iwth emergency roadside assistance pertaining to me. They again refused to refund my mone.
