I recently purchased a car from calcars. The car looked ok from a distance, but due to the fact that I got to the lot so late I was not given the opportunity to look over the car. I realize that when you purchase a vehicle from a buy here pay here lot you are not getting the best car.
They rushed me through the paperwork and I never saw the car up close until after I had already signed the papers. Immediately, I noticed a large crack going across the windshield right in my line of sight. They told me they would replace it but I had to pay for it.
The next morning I took it to have it looked at by a mechanic, he found that every hose under the hood was either cracked or broken, it was missing a wiper blade, had almost no oil in it, and the transmission fluid looks like motor oil which means that the transmission is about to go out. That is the reason I got this car in the first place, because the tranmission went out in my other car.
The front end of this vehicle also needs a lot of work.
