Ordered a common part on 09/05/05. Credit card was charged immediately ($113.50). Was told by saleman that part would arrive 5-10 days. 4 weeks later, no parts.
Called toll-free number on 09/28/05. Was directed to TOLL number for inquiries about order tracking. Person on phone did a tap dance and explained that their was a mix-up on my order and that I should call back in "5 days" for a tracking number.
I looked up S&J online and found numerous complaints on usacomplaints.com similar to mine. Suspect that I'll never see my part and will have to dispute the charge on my credit card.
Be aware that federal law requires that a mail order company must notify you if they determine that an order can't be shipped within 30 days and give you the option to cancel.
