AB Hadley & sons - ripoffs since 1931.
I took my wife's car in because she was having problems with the manual transmission, she's pretty good at driving a car with a clutch but the tranny was loosing it's pep. So after leaving it at the shop for the day, the owner (Boyd Hadley) tells me that the transmission is about to go and it will cost $3000 for a rebuilt transmission. I told him that we need to wait on the repair and that I'll pick it up in 2 hours.
I get there in one hour only to see one of the mechanics driving it from the rear of the shop to the pickup area (40 yards) but since the road is covered with snow the mechanic decides to jam through first second and third gear, spinning the tires on the snow just trying to blow up the transmission. I verbally confront him about it and voice my sentiments to the owner who could care less.
Furtunately we found an excellent auto shop in the area called: (competitor's name deleted - see below) I am only promoting them because we have been using them for 5 years and have nothing but positive things to say about Bob and his crew.
