I bought a car at JDByrider in Lansing, Michigan. First of all, the car was a 1999 and I am paying over $11,000 for it. Secondly, the car is supposed to come with a warranty. Before the warranty has expired, my car starts to shift out of gear and make wierd noises, but only after driving for at least an hour.
I suspected it had something to do with a chip getting hot that controls the automatic transmission. Also, my gas gage quit working, and the "check engine" light came on.
I took the car in for repair leaving it onsite for 1 and 1/2 weeks. When the car was returned, I did not get a receipt, nor was the car fixed. So, we called them again.
We made the appointment, and dropped the car off again. They called in the same afternoon saying the car was fixed. It still had not been touched, and we still did not get a receipt for the work.
Now they do not answer my phone calls. I believe the car should be replaced, but they refuse to answer me or my husband at all.
