This website presents itself as a lease broker for a car - They are in fact a quick cash turnaround scheme. On 6/23 the website provided terms of sale for the purchase of a leasing service at $29.95. AFTER I paid the money a credit application was submitted and was returned in seconds as denied. The $29.95 was retained by the company as a "fee". This was a quick cash turnaround scheme. When asked the foillowing they responded as follows word for word:
Me: "Yes or No - Are you going to steal my money?"
Them" "YES"
I was refered to a third party. BMW Finace (1-800-578-5000) as a deversion tactic. This company had no bearing on thier subjective desicion to "deny me credit" as they claimed based on thier "findings" that they claim were provided by Equifax.in reality I have practically flawless credit. But they REFUSED to provide me with the report they made the decision from saying only "it came from our department". This is a business which is potentially in voilation of the law which conducts themselves in the same manner as an independent bank - which is illegal. As you can imagine - a substantial part of thier business comes from these quick cash turnarounds.
The representative from BMW Finace (1-800-578-5000) was on the other line ona 3 way call listening to the con-artist lie to me on the speaker phone. She heard him tell me that they (BMW) need to pre-approve me to before they (leasetrader.com) could provide me service. This was a total lie. Upon knowing a BMW was on the phone - leasetrader.com hung up and refused to discuss the issue further. Furthermore they admitted that they stole my money and would to it again if they could.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. The internet is a de-regulated environment and is an easy place for scam artists like this to operate under the guise of being legitimate. They manipulte the system to steal your money knowing the effort you will spend on getting it back exceeds the actual money you lost. THEREFORE THEY GET AWAY WITH IT.internet Fraud affect us all. $29.95 - over several thousand people adds up to alot of cash. If we let these people do this they will continue to manipulate the public to thier own advantage. Avoid this company at all costs.
