The oil change was on may 15 approx 8 weeks ago. The van was driven from Baltimore Md to Fl. Dimmitt serviced my van on June 27 and it was not covered under the warranty but GM did pay Dimmitt for the repair. Why would the transmission mount need to be replaced after 36,000 miles? Dimmitt stated it should have lasted for at least 100,000 miles. I went to Dimmitt due to the service engine light coming on. A week later the service engine light came on again and then the engine died. I wonder how a man with knowledge of cars would handle the same situation? The van was regularly serviced by ASE mechanics. Larry at Dimmitt stated" there was no oil and no signs of any leaks. Then when I provided proof of an oil change he changed his story and said the oil was dirty and black" I personally have not seen the oil. I just know that a foriegn car would still be running at 36,000 miles even if I never had an oil change. BBB gives them a good ranking.
