Department Of Defense bans military personnel from shopping with Express Auto Parts ripoff

An excerpt from the Albany TimesUnion that may interest everyone.

Washington, DC March 25: The Department of Defense announced Monday that it has placed Express Auto Parts of NY, New York, and Exeter, Pennsylvania on their Do Not Patronize list. This action prohibits military personnel and their families from using the online retailer due to unfair business practices that discriminate or take advantage of our nation's military.

LTC Alan Thompson, Staff Judge Advocate from the Office of Military Commissions did not specify the exact events that led to their decision but cited it was based on numerous complaints from the field.

The TransUnion learned though the New York state Attorney Generals Office that Express Auto Parts is known to have Middle Eastern roots and may be an avenue for funding terrorist activities. Express Auto Parts recently dropped its membership with the Better Business Bureau in New York and Pennsylvania probably because of their unfavorable ratings that reveal hundreds of unresolved complaints. Their website remains active but our investigative reporter, Pam Collier, was unable to reach Express Auto Parts for comment claiming all their phones were disconnected.
