Georgetown Amoco ripoff faulty repairs, rude service, bullying employees

I called AAA to a tow when my car battery died and Richard of Georgetown Getty was the one who came to tow my car. He loudly berated me literally yelling and calling me stupid for the entire 45 inutes or so it took to load my car and drive it to Georgetown Getty. He refused to take my car to the original mechanic that I asked him to take it to. He called me stupid when I reported that the battery woudl need to be replaced.

It turned out that the battery and alternatory needed to be replaced which he said was done. Within minutes of picking up the car, warning lights on the console were lighting up (had never done that before) and the engine was revving and jumping all on it's own (also never done that before).

When I took the car back and described the problems, the mechanics again raised their voices at me insisting that they were reputable because they were in georgetown and that they hadn't caused any of the problems, and that really, there was nothing wrong with the car — that these problems were just typical. (The car only has about 7000 miles on it).

I later took the car to the dealership, and the mechanics there determined that a new battery and alternator were indeed put in, but that the new alternator was faulty and had caused all the problems.
