I am writing to ALERT others that are thinking to buy a car at continental Autos in Ft Lauderdale ( sunrise) from being ripped off. 20 days ago my husband and I bought a car from them. One of the sales rep ( MAURICO) Very rude he even blocked me from his phone when I confront hi. told me my car was a 2009 and out of those 20 days, 10 days the truck have been back at the dealer twice because the engine went bad.
When we sat down to finalize the paperwork they make you sign aprox 100 papers covering their behinds from he fraud that they have in this crap of dealership, First Mauricio says that I only have to give $ 1500 down and we can pay the car with in a year, we realized that in 20 days we had to pay $ 1500 more then after that another 1500 making a total of down payment of $ 4500, but MAURICIO never told us that. now that we only had the truck for only 10 days they want us to pay the other $1500 and give us the truck back. but we don't want this car anymore, we asked them to change the car or give back the money because in FLORIDA the law is that we have 30 day to return ANY car used, new, pre-owned if we don't like it. and what was the owner answer ... WELL IF YOU DONT TAKE THE TRUCK BACK THEN YOU ARE SCREWED. what type of person talks to a customer that way obviously this woman doesn't have any education AT ALL!
Now I know why they locked his front doors and I had to ring a bell to come in. It has to be due to all the people he has ripped off that come to complain. If you buy a car or pickup from him he will either rip you off in the beginning or the end. . I just hired an attorney and let see if they talk to the judge they way they talk and treat the customers
