USPS advertises extended holiday hours, but when I went at 8.30 to take advantage of that, I was extremely disappointed to learn that this was actually not a guarantee. I had to wait outside in the freezing cold for 25 minutes (and was late to work) because the staff was "running late". The staff member who finally arrived was unapologetic, adding insult to injury.
