This is about the Northridge, CA store at 9119 Reseda Blvd. This is not about the store itself, but about what they let go on in front and in their parking lot. They do nothing about the solicitors nor the panhandlers who harass customers outside, nothing. It has gotten unbearable in the last few months, but today, as I was leaving the store I was chased around the parking lot by a young pandhandler who was riding a scooter. When he didn't get the proper response he wanted, he started verbally abusing me and using racial slurs. This young man had been standing at the entrance to the store when I first got there and had moved out into the parking lot later on. He was using his scooter to go up to customers who had just pulled into the lot and asking for money. Really aggressive tactics and this wasn't some down on his luck, dirty homeless beggar, but a well dressed kid, well fed kid who if he had any shame at all would not asking people for money but actually working in a job.
That store is my local store and after what happened today, I'm not shopping there again. Also coupled with the fact I am tired of going to this store and being asked for money by charities and panhandlers every time I go there. It gets old.
