I have a 2002 honda civic. On 09/24/04 I went to Just Tires purchased 4 205/40r17 Nankang Sport Ex-601 which I had already had on my car just needed new ones. I also had them balance and do the align (included rear adj.) I was charged $400.23. Which is really high but with the size of my rims and stuff thats standard prices.
Well everything was fine till I went on free way a few weeks later. My car was shaking really bad. I went back asked them to rebalance or whatever they need to do to stop it from shaking. I told them the tires are the same kind that had been on there and it never did that. So they said okay no problem.
Again seemed fine till we took the car on freeway it did that shaking plus the alignment was wrong. We take car back over to them and I had to remove the tire and replace with stock tire for time being. I need to go over 200 mile to pick up mother for holidays. As we took off the front tire were with no tread on them. It had been only 3000 miles and it has always shook. So my husband took the tire back to just tires and talked with the manager who then told him, he would need to see the tires on the car in order to make a dissension.
My husband told him it would have to be tomorrow (which was Sunday) the manager told him to come back a 11:00am and he would meet him. Both my husband and myself went with the car and tires on there. We asked to speak with Mr. Rodriquez they told us he wasn't in and we explained him had said for us to meet him at this time. I think the clerk went in and called, Mr. Rodriquez who had them put us on the phone. He then stated that he wasn't going to replace the two damged tires. He did not remember or didn't think we would show up for them to have to stand by his word.
I paid $100.00 per tire and the tire are rated to have a life of 42,000 mile I had only put max 3,000 miles due to there poor work with balancing and align. They caused me to have to purchase two more tires at 200.00 more so in fact I have paid 600.00 in all not counting the lost of my time. I 'm calling there corp. Office Monday morning will give update on it the corp. Office will stand behind there work or if they too in fact let this customer be ripped off by there people. I will also call TV news who do those reports on ripped off.
