I recently purchased a 2012 Chrysler 200 from Chrysler of Culpeper in Virginia. It is extremely disheartening I have to write another letter about the terrible service I received at this dealership. It is 3 months now I was sold and let drive off the lot a defective car with SAFETY Issues! In November I test drove a 2012 Chrysler 200. Not even 1/16 of mile into the test drive I noticed a terrible vibration in the front end of the car as did the salesman who was riding with me. He stated to me that if I was interested in the car and wanted it they would take care of the problem before I drove off the lot. 3 months later the problem still remains. They have replaced multiple tires and done front end alignments but the problem remains. There have been numerous manufacture reps on test drives with me but no one can figure out what the problem is. YOU ARE CHRYSLER! A TOP AUTOMOBILE SELLER AND YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS? This is a SAFETY ISSUE!" Car vibrations at high speeds can be caused by several problems. Most of them are felt in the steering wheel and can be traced to the front end of the car. Vibrations at high speeds can lead to tire failure and serious accidents. Whatever the cause of the vibration don't ignore the problem and have the vehicle serviced at once." You can't tell me these are charcteristics of this vehicle. These vibrations were felt during the test drive by the myself and the salesman who stated they would be fixed if I purcahsed the vehicle. If I was told these vibrations were characteristics of the vehicle I would not have purchased it. Did I spend 5 hours at Chrysler of Culpeper to have a salesman lie to me and coherce me to purchase a car for personal gratification? Cohersion comes with serious ramifications. Due to the vibration the car does not have proper traction. Its all over the road. Wind and inclement weather make it worse. Would you want YOUR FAMILY driving in an unsafe car? My fiance, her daughter and my 6 year old son have to! The vehicle also is not performing at maximum fuel efficiency. What good is a fuel efficient vehicle that is NOT fuel efficient? It is causing abnormal wear and tear on the tires and the front end. I will be stuck with maintenance repairs prematurely due to this problem. This is a brand new car! I came to Chrysler. A reputable dealer to purchase a car. I was led to believe the problem would be fixed. My salesman assured me the problem would be fixed before I drove the car off the lot. It was NOT! I was lied to! Chrysler corporate and the dealership state they have exhausted all avenues and cannot diagnose the problem. Mr. Wade Schick stated they had all intentions of fixing the vehicle as promised, BUT, there should NOT be a BUT, sometimes there are things they can't resolve. Where does this leave me? Driving an unsafe vehicle that will surely wear out long before it should. A 2012 Chrysler. Perhaps " FORD " could have given me a better deal. L feel you as " CHRYSLER " as a top of the list car dealership should replace my car with a comparable one at no cost to me. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction? It's not a matter of not wanting the car, but of only wanting a SAFE car for me and my family. I have wasted much time and gas driving to and from the Chrysler dealer in Culpeper. Is there " NO ONE " who will do right and stand behind your automobile??
