We bought two vehicles both financed thru Americredit. We had been paying on them for 3 years basically just got done paying off all the interest on the cars. We fell behind because we had to constantly repair one of them because Kia would not honor their warranty. We were two payments behind on both vehicles we had fallen behind worse in the past and they worked with us.
I had just spoken with Romeo in the collections department and told him I had overnighted two payments to them and he told me it was fine and everything would be okay. Then they cash the checks and this Tuesday we had repo men at our door taking our vehicles. How fair is that they get the payments cash the checks then come and take our cars. Now we have no cars my husband cannot get to work and I cannot take my daughter to school. Something should be done about them, they are corporate theives. They should be put out of business and have to pay back all the money they stole from their consumers.
