During a recent purchase of tires I had my property damaged. I purchased a new set of aluminum winter specific wheels and
one of the rims was damaged while the tire was installed on to it.
The summer tires and wheels only needed to be removed from the vehicle and placed in the trunk. One of the wheels was damaged as well. During the service I needed to explain to the tire techs how TPMS functioned. They tried to explain to me my wheels had sensors in them. I explained to them the wheel sensors are a 2008 model year item and not a 2004. They
went on to say if i had a light on the dashboard I has sensors. I know my own vehicle and enough about cars to know there were no sensors. After about 15 minutes of arguing with the tech they mounted and installed the tires. The tech also forgot to return my wheel lock key to me that night.
