I had made a reservation to rent a truck two days before the pickup date on 12/07 at 8am. At 8:30 pm, the night before, the rental location at your Detroit location called me and said that they may not have the truck available for the next day and I would have to call them in the morning. When I called them the next day, it took them over an hour to refer me to another location in Troy, MI. Needless to say I was behind on schedule when they should have referred me to the other location the day before. When I got to the new location, the price had jumped from $170 to $270! I was not expecting to pay such a high price. The location in Troy had also said I would have a 30% discount for all the troubles I had, (since by the time I got there I was 2 1/2 hours off schedule) but it was not applied to my account. I had an interview in Ohio to go to and ended up not getting the job I had applied for because of the negligence of the location.
