Budget Truck Rental charged me for pre-existing damage. I have a complaint pending with the company.
A woman at the Yonkers location lied to Budget Truck customer service regarding the rental, stating that she did a walk-around the truck with us. She did not, and in fact, was not even present the day of the rental. Further, she was rude to me on the phone when I tried to resolve the issue.
The woman who was there arrived at the location late. My pick-up was scheduled for 8 am and she arrived at the office at 8:25. She did not appear to understand the office computer and did not have answers to questions I had for the rental.
I reserved additional equipment and the equipment was not there. I had to run to U-Haul to rent handtrucks and furniture pads.
