I have been unable to receive any statement of work for the temporary position I am currently working. First I was asked why I wanted a description of the job, then told there was none. Next asked for a copy of the contract with the company with the job description, again told there was no such item. Takes days to get a response from a call to the office, put on hold several times during my calls. Staffmark rep visits the company I'm working at but never comes anywhere near me. Actually will look the other way. I have no copies of my rate per hour or after what period time my rate would increase. Assignment was for 3 months, that was 7 months ago. Company I am working at keeps adding more and more to things to do but I have no documentation to prove what I was "hired" to do. Why is Staffmark allowed to "slave labor" people to jobs?
