After a 9 hour day helping Hurricane Sandy customers I decided to stop at the Burger King Drive thru in Charlotte NC. I was in line for 35 minutes. There was not way to get out of the line so I had to wait. I never did purchase any food because when I finally got to the speaker nobody was there and at that point I just wanted to get out of the line. When I got to the window the gentleman working kept trying to give me food and i said you never took my order. I asked for a number I could call to file a complaint but they did not have one to give. They gave me a survey coupon but when I tried to log on with that it said I needed the restaurant # and it was not on the survey of course. The gentleman at the window apologized and said they were short 4 people in the kitchen. It is not his fault and I was not upset with him. This restaurant is apparently poorly manged and Burger King needs to know there were a lot of unhappy customers in that line besides me. I won't go back there and will tell everyone I know about the horrible service. Once in the drive up line you are trapped and over 30 minutes is never, never acceptable.
