On Saturday the 29th of September I went into the Krispy Kreme located at 408 E. Thompson Ln. Nashville TN. I have been to this establishment before & was excited to return, going out of my way on my busy Saturday, for the free coffee promotion.
Unfortunately I believe I caught the woman working the front of the house that afternoon on a bad day. She seemed surly & impatient, almost making me feel as if I was bothering her when I placed my simple order of 1 donut & a free coffee. As I have worked (& still currently work) in the service industry for many, many years, I do feel for this woman who was obviously in a very bad mood. However I would like to recommend a policy I call "fake it to you make it!" which is what I demand from my staff throughout their work day, & most especially in front of customers.
Unfortunately I further aggravated her by asking about the "win free coffee for a year" competition which this store was not participating in. I am unaware whether any Nashville Tn. Locations are participating? If not that is fine, however if so I would still like to enter & any information regarding this would be most appreciated.
And last, but certainly not least, I would like to mention that the coffee I received did not taste very fresh. As it was nice & hot my thinking is that maybe the coffee maker &/or pot need a good cleaning.
