This evening I took our guests to the IHOP #2048 in Plainview, Texas. We eat there frequently usually with good results. We had eleven in our party and were seated in the back dining room to accomodate the size of our party. Most of the time we were the only group back there. Rarely did we see a server one of our party would leave to go to the front to request refills. The first plates were 45 minutes coming to the table, and the last person was one hour before his cheeseburger was served. Four in the party received the wrong order, but kept the plate due to the lateness of the hour. One person requested eggs well done. The eggs were very runny, the were sent back but the second eggs were even runnier. As the host I was extremely embarassed, and apologized profusely to our guests. I hope this is not the trend for this restaurant. I explained the situation to the cashier and she apologized. Upon arriving home I realized that I was not given a customer survey. I usually express appreciation for the food and service and always receive a survey. The date was December 27, checkout time was 8:03 PM. Server was 156 Yolanda. This information was from the credit card receipt.
