I recently visited Longhorn steakhouse, Avon, Indiana, and received horrible service. My family and I met some friends, whom we have not seen for a few years, there and were ready to sit down and enjoy a nice dinner. There were nine of us, yes a large party, but usually restaurants are happy to serve large parties because large parties=large tips. We are very patient and kind people.in fact, three of us at the table are or have been waitresses before, so we were extra patient. My boyfriend and I had eaten there a few months earlier and recieved horrible service and food, but did not complain, and decided to give the place another try. Bad mistake. The waiter was extremely rude and messed up several orders. Despite our patience and kindness of asking for more to drink or silverware to accomodate everyone, the waiter became more rude and said "You are not my only table this evening, I have two others." Again, we were understanding. However, there were then three waiters and waitresses taking care of us and still, my boyfried sat with his salad for twenty minutes waiting on silverware, while I still needed a drink. My friend never recieved her beer she ordered, her mother never recieved the tea she ordered, and our original waiter did not come back until we were finished and ready to pay the bill. They never appologize for their poor service. I would just like to warn others that if you want to go out to eat and actually get waited on, do not go to Longhorn Steakhouse in Avon, Indiana.
